2007年，红草坡镇，一个被中国时代发展抛下的南方破败小镇，年轻人纷纷离开这里，小镇似乎只剩下老旧。

来到这里的“新东西”少之又少——而毒品正是其中之一。没错，毒品在这个年迈的小镇如野草般生长，与之同来的，是家族势力、极端暴力、青少年犯罪。

你，是来到这座小镇的另一个“新人”，是刚刚加入小镇派出所的警员。你将与甚嚣尘上的毒品犯罪殊死作战，维护这座衰老小镇垂危的安宁与健康。

 

‘银色盾牌’是一款以扮演警察办案为主要体验2d垂直视角的动作冒险射击游戏；

- 游戏会创造以若干剧情任务为单位，以环境探索，对话，收集物品，战斗等游戏机制为支撑的游戏体验

- 游戏设置了数十个由真实案例启发而创作的，主题各异但又相互关联的探案故事，玩家将以警官的视角 在故事中做出决策;

- 游戏具有一个经典的垂直视角 2d 射击游戏系统，玩家可以使用枪械和各种工具，用来保护自己，打击或制服罪犯;

- 游戏中设计了一个由完成对话和收集物品为条件的任务 / 事件系统，玩家需要通过收集物品，与其他角色交谈来一步步了解故事，还原真相并最终揭开谜底;

- 故事发生在一个名叫红草坡的虚构中国南方小乡镇，游戏将具备一个可探索的小世界地图；

 

Hongcaopo, a rural town located on national road conjunction thus makes the town's economy heavily rely on the service for the passing by truckers. It has witnessed the rapid development of modern China for decades. By 2007 this town's former prosperity was soon taken away by the newly built, more efficient expressway nearby, so waves of jobless young people had left here to explore the outside world. They brought back not only the knowledge of the outside world but also the social problems of the new age, such as drug trafficking and wire fraud. You are a young police officer at the township police station; you will witness the truth, beauty, falsehood and ugliness while using your strength to maintain the peace and bring back prosperity.

 

'Project Silver Shield' is a police-themed 2d top-down RPG adventure game that focuses on the experiences of being a police officer and solving crimes.

- The game will create an experience based on several narrative-driven missions supported by game mechanics such as environmental exploration, dialogue, item collection, and combat.

- The game features dozens of detective stories inspired by real-life stories, with different but interrelated themes, and players will make decisions in the stories from the perspective of a police officer.

- The game has a classic top-down 2d shooting mechanics. The player can use firearms and various tools to protect themselves, fight or subdue criminals;

- The game featured a mission system conditioned on completing dialogues and collecting items. Players need to collect items and talk to other characters to understand the story step by step, restore the truth and eventually uncover the mystery;

- The story takes place in a fictional small town in southern China called Hongcaopo, which means the game will feature an explorable small world map.
